A Gathering
That Changes Lives

The Brothers United For Change Annual Conference is the event of the year for all people — from everywhere, with no divisions. All together. This is a powerful, life-changing gathering where leaders who have inspired communities across the country come together under one roof in Spartanburg, SC.

Through thought-provoking discussions, empowering workshops, and inspiring keynote speakers, participants will delve into pressing social issues and work together toward innovative, positive solutions rooted in God's love.

The program will be followed by a Q&A session with our speakers and community leaders, and a FREE Chick-fil-A box lunch for all attendees. Come and be the difference.

The Beginning — Conference One

The first BUFC Annual Conference planted the seed — a bold vision to bring men and women of all colors together around faith, service, and community impact in Spartanburg, SC.

2ND
2023
Growing Roots — Conference Two

Attendance doubled. The conference expanded to include youth programming and Q&A sessions with community leaders, reinforcing BUFC's commitment to the next generation.

2024
Building Momentum — Conference Three

Regional speakers joined for the first time, drawing attendees from across the Upstate. The conversation broadened to address systemic issues and faith-led solutions.

Expanding Reach — Conference Four

BUFC's fourth conference reached families, churches, and organizations across South Carolina. The movement of unity, love, and action continued to grow stronger.

Keynote Speaker

Sheriff Bill Rhyne

A natural leader. A communicator. Connector of people. A listener. A man of faith. Served in the US Marines where honor, discipline, and loyalty are life's requirements. Upon returning from service, he joined the Spartanburg Sheriff's office focusing on community policing. Later he joined the South Carolina Highway Patrol as part of the Public Information and community relations office, overseeing 5 counties. Sheriff Rhyne's policing approach is grounded in visibility, transparency, and connection. He is a server of others. A GOD centered man, husband and father of 3.

Apostle Edwards Pitts

A messenger. Man changer. Woman influencer. GOD gifted. Faith filled. Spiritual guide to all. Author of 10 insightful books dealing with his and others' life journeys and experiences with Christ. A mentor to the "Son of God" organization. A teacher who elevates your possibilities and growth in the word of GOD. Edward has over 40 years in Ministry, co-founder of Life Forum Ministries in Florida and The United Kingdom. Along with his wife Prophetess Mary, father of 6 kids, he continues to lead in serving all people throughout the world. BUFC family member.

Rev Jimmy MacPhee

A "Changer of men" whether they are "free or not." Jimmy's journey to change others started while serving nearly 45 years in prison — 3½ of those years on death row and 16 years in solitary confinement. It was there that God changed him, and where he started his journey of service to others. Released 6 years ago, Jimmy now tells his story in churches, clubs, and organizations everywhere. He is the Executive Director of On The Rock Ministries, helping youth and those in prison find Christ. He serves on the Board of New Creations Re-entry Program and mentors at several ministerial foundations in SC. Jimmy impacts lives — just ask anyone who has heard his story.

A community leader who walks the talk. One of the original Board members of BUFC.
